Take the fight to any bully
The tactics that work against a bigger, richer, better-connected opponent: pressure, timing traps and efficiency.
We teach the skills Val Venom has mastered over 29 years online: how to take the fight to any online bully, how to survive when an entire server turns against you, and how to upend whale dominance in mobile strategy games.
Whales buy power. We teach the strategy that beats it: mechanics, timing, efficiency and teamwork. Everything we teach happens inside the game, within the rules.

Val has been the target of whole servers, and held a mountain against a megatribe for months. Learn to hold, and to hit back.
Players 50 to 200 percent stronger fall to mechanics and minimal spend, and their alliances fall to rebels.
Ten years of mobile strategy, and the names that servers learned to fear. You learn from the one who did it.
Val Venom has dominated more than 200 strategy titles: beating players far stronger and richer than him, raising rebel alliances that broke whale monopolies, and, when provoked, turning whole servers.
He started in Ultima Online in 1997, in the first generation of massively multiplayer players, and has fought in every era since.

Add yourselfFounded by Val Venom. From a six-player strike team on Nagafen, through the Snow Peak, to the scourge of mobile strategy.
Before Nagafen, there was Radiance. Val's character, Char Magnus, fights fully overt and Imperial from day one and founds Res Luk Ruaf, RLR: Trandoshan, roughly and endlessly argued, for "don't mess with a badass." Under his command it becomes the longest-running Imperial-only guild on Radiance, and by some accounts in the entire game.
Fear is a choice. Strength is order.
On EverQuest II's PvP server, Val's assassin, Shadowspawn, rises to #1 Assassin worldwide, trading the top slot daily with one rival killer. The Assassin is regarded as the top damage class in the game, and Shadowspawn holds the #1 raid damage in the game on one.
Val finds a Coercer named Pumpkin soloing on Nagafen, and watches him take out a whole group of gankers by himself. Pumpkin had mastered the Coercer when it was written off as an underpowered support class, and proved it the ultimate PvP killer. Nobody could touch him, except another Coercer. Val becomes his student.
Val re-rolls as Voracious and learns everything Pumpkin can teach, then takes the Coercer one step further. Played right, it does vastly more damage than the Assassin he had ranked #1 on, and Voracious shows the whole server that the Coercer is the real top raid damage machine. Within weeks he is #2 Coercer worldwide.
Genocidal Tendencies' apex team is a Shadowknight, a Warden, a Defiler, a Dirge and two Coercers: the student, Voracious, and the master, Pumpkin. It becomes the only organized force to beat Onyx in open combat. Canada healed as the Warden. The other names are still being remembered. See the roll call
When the campaign closes, Voracious joins Onyx under Heelo, beside the Warden Kailyzz. In raids the coercer rotation often tops every damage parse, and healers, tanks and damage dealers all adjust their rhythm around it.
At the start of ARK's Early Access era, the name came with us. Builders, not raiders: bases so well designed that attacking them was rarely worth the effort.
Megatribes begin wiping North American tribes. We take the summit of the Snow Peak, fortify the only approach with nine mini-fortresses, and hold for months of weekend assaults until a nine-day siege finally breaks the last wall.
From 2016 Val Venom becomes the whale killer, the alliance toppler and, when provoked, the server destroyer of mobile strategy. More than 200 strategy titles dominated, breaking whale players and whale alliances alone, and deadlier with a team of like-minded players.
If you fought beside us, or against us, in any of these chapters, your name belongs on the roll.

Twenty-nine years online. Val Venom logged in during the first year of Ultima Online, the game widely regarded as the first true MMORPG, and has been fighting in online worlds ever since. He is one of a small group of players who have been there since the beginning.
The provoker mage who never typed a word. The silence that commanded fire.
Tank mage, Sith, Brute and Gladiator. Fought overt, in the open, in every game.
The trusted trader, then the #1 Assassin worldwide and #1 raid damage in the game.
The Coercer who proved support could out-damage everything, and the student who surpassed his master.
Ultima Online opens in 1997 and is widely regarded as the first true MMORPG: the first to reach a mass audience, the first past 100,000 players, and the game whose creator, Richard Garriott, is credited with coining the term MMORPG. Many players consider it the first true MMORPG. Val is in that first generation. He arrives as three characters and one player: Char Magnus, a classic tank mage; Shadowspawn, the trusted trader; and Val Venom, a provoker mage who never typed a word.
What set that world apart: a player-driven economy, houses built into the shared world for everyone to see, and no classes at all. You became what you did, and the players wrote the rules.
What set that world apart: persistent scale that no earlier game came close to, a player-driven economy, houses built into the shared world for everyone to see, and no classes at all. You became what you did, and the players wrote the rules.
Val Venom. The silence that commanded fire.
Char Magnus fights fully overt and Imperial from day one, before and after the Force unlocks, and treats hiding as cowardice. Val founds Res Luk Ruaf, RLR: Trandoshan, roughly and endlessly argued, for "don't mess with a badass." It becomes the longest-running Imperial-only guild on Radiance, and by some accounts in the entire game, and runs hours-long starport sieges against waves of bounty hunters. Its players would go on to found Genocidal Tendencies.
Fear is a choice. Strength is order.
Char Magnus, a Willpower and Super Strength Brute. Willpower keeps him standing when others fall, and Super Strength makes every fight worse for the other side. He specializes in one against many, in Siren's Call and Recluse's Victory.
Shadowspawn climbs to #1 Assassin worldwide and #1 raid damage in the game. Then Val learns the Coercer from Pumpkin, a solo PvPer nobody could touch except another Coercer, surpasses his master, and shows the world the Coercer is the real top raid damage machine. As Voracious he fights in Genocidal Tendencies' apex six, the only force to beat Onyx in open combat.
The blade opens the wound. The mind decides when it bleeds.
Char Magnus, an Asmodian Gladiator, lives almost entirely in the Abyss. Val sees early that real power comes from the Abyss Point economy, so he skips the dungeons and stays in the war.
A havoc-group specialist in Guild Wars 2. In The Secret World, Val masters synergy-heavy builds that demand high cognitive APM.
Val builds a mountaintop citadel with nine mini-fortresses and holds it against a megatribe for months. It falls after a nine-day siege, and becomes known as the tiny tribe the megatribe couldn't crush.

We are here to upend the whale dominance of mobile strategy games.
Whales buy power. We teach the strategy that beats it. Everything we teach happens inside the game, within the rules.Prepared for anything, because we assume nothing. Each track draws on the nine skills Val forged across thirty years.
Take on a bigger, richer opponent by yourself.
Raise a small team and take down a whale alliance.
Survive, and thrive, when everyone turns on you.
None of these are separate skill sets. Every subject in the guide below applies whether you're alone, with a squad, or against an entire server.
This is Strategy Gaming 101. If you can't hold this discipline, mobile strategy isn't for you yet, and that's fine, most players never get past it. The ones who do stop losing resources for good.
Nobody stole from you. You gave it away.
Overbuilding troops is the second most common way players hand free wins to people who barely tried. It feels like progress. It's a liability wearing a power score as a costume.
Nothing to steal. Nothing worth killing. Move along.
Val doesn't shield. Never has, never will. Call it ego, call it a point of pride, call it stubborn. Maybe it's all three. But in Val's world, needing a shield means you already lost, because the only reason to need one is failing the first two rules in this guide: manage your resources, don't overbuild your troops. Those aren't advanced techniques. They're the basics.
A shield isn't a strategy. It's failure.
You just made the NAP obsolete.
Nothing to steal. Nothing worth killing. Shielded when absolutely necessary. Follow the first three without fail, and there is no one left on this server for you to fear. Ever.
This is a big subject, big enough that it could be its own guide. We start with the one piece that matters most, the one every new player needs first.
Not thick skin. Impervious skin.
Thick skin still keeps the bruise. Impervious skin treats pixels as pixels.
Nothing online is real. Pixels. Stolen resources. Wiped troops. A broken treaty. A server that hates the name. None of it follows you off the map. If a sentence written in world chat or a private message makes you angry, you have already lost.
The assumption is that Val is a raging, basement-dwelling ego. His own alliance knows the class clown instead. Beatdowns, betrayals, gossip, scorn, hatred, none of it lands. He does not get angry. He demolishes. Relentlessly. People crying over pixels is the entertainment, not the wound. That's the whole game.
He loves the split. Public hulk, private quiet. Twenty-nine years of keyboard warriors inventing insults because they can't invent a win. They need him to be a monster. The alternative is that he is simply better. Everyone hates whoever is above them. That's not a crisis. That's the scoreboard talking.
This isn't a personality quiz. This is the condition for winning, and for enjoying the fight. If they can make you cry, they own you. If a broken peace or a wipe ruins your night, you're playing their game. Measure a lost battle by damage dealt versus damage taken. Every general loses battles. Only the war is scored.
Become impervious, or stay food.
Not caring is the secret to winning. If they cannot make you cry, they have no power.
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.
Winston Churchill
Become the Zen Warrior, and you are now unstoppable.
Empty base. Small army. Shielded only when it matters. Nothing anyone says can touch you. Four rules. You're already ahead of 99.9% of every player online.

On EverQuest II's PvP server, a six-player party of a Shadowknight, a Warden, a Defiler, a Dirge and two Coercers became the only organized force able to beat Onyx, the server's strongest raid guild, in open combat.
Our ground was the Commonlands Docks: open terrain, fast respawns, nowhere to hide. Both sides held formation while dozens of unaffiliated players swarmed for a tag on a kill. The whole server came to watch.
ARK: Survival Evolved, 2015 to 2017. Nine mini-fortresses on the only approach, and a citadel at the summit. Drag the slider through the nine-day siege.
A guild is measured by who it fights and who shows up for it.
The server's number one raid guild, and the only opponent we met and beat in open combat. When our campaign closed, Voracious joined them and often topped every damage parse.
One of the top NA tribes. They came to watch our defense of the Snow Peak, and backed us up when it mattered.
Another of the top NA tribes to stand with us on the mountain. Respect earned in both directions.
The force that spent months and nine days breaking the Snow Peak. They won the server. It was empty within weeks.
The record is better with both sides in it. If you were on Onyx, or fought at the Docks for anyone, come and add yourself, and the names we've forgotten.
